This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is a Title I elementary school, full of smart and talented students, who have a yearning for learning. The population of our school is made up of hard-working families, who sometimes do not have the financial support required to provide their students with the resources needed to be academically successful. For some of our students, they may endure other situations due to their low economic status. Nevertheless, our students are resilient and are ready to learn something new, every day!

The students of my school deserve to have the resources and opportunities needed to be academically successful.

Teachers and staff members strive to provide meaningful learning experiences to our students each and every day.

My Project

These tables and benches will make a significant difference in helping my students keep a safe distance while learning, upon returning to face to face instruction. It will give them the opportunity to have that much needed socialization, while being safe and responsible.

These tables and benches will make a difference and give my students the confidence that they will need to be able to enjoy the outdoors while learning with one another.

It is crucial that young children have that face to face interaction with one another, while having fun at a safe distance.
