Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have a class full of energetic, enthusiastic, and amazing students! Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty-stricken homes or may live in a motel. All of the students receive free lunch. Most are English Language Learners, while some have special needs. These students come to school eager to learn every day with big smiles on their faces, regardless of their circumstances!

What could be more fun than having matching Field Day shirts with your best friends!?

Towards the end of the school year, we always have an outdoor field day that is so much fun! Students in each classroom participate in activities and games together while wearing a specific color shirt. We thought it would be so much fun if our students could match exactly with their friends in our class. Over the course of the year, these littles have become very close friends. This will be a very special memory for my kiddos. Thank you so much for your support!
