This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom serves students for robotics, STEM, computer science and Game Design, physics, and Esports. We are now in year two of our Esports program! The students have access to gaming PCs, the Nintendo Switch, and virtual reality for Esports. Students will compete in Splatoon 3, Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, and a variety of PC and PS5 games.
In order to play those games, students need to have a safe place to power up their devices.
This project aims to provide the power strip that will enable our students to compete on our Switches. The Super Smash Brothers DLC fighter pack is an extension for our Super Smash Brothers game. With it, we will be able to unlock new characters. This will aid our students as they compete against other schools in Esports matches. Tekken 8 is another heavily requested game. This will go to serve our students in the after school Esports program, helping them to develop a healthy appreciation and understanding of gaming.
