This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are passionate about exploring technology through game design, computer science, and Esports. A gaming chair will greatly enhance their experience by providing ergonomic support during long periods of coding, designing, and competing in games. Lack of ergonomic seating can lead to discomfort and distraction. By adding a comfortable, supportive chair, students will be able to focus more deeply, stay engaged longer, and experience a more professional simulation environment that mirrors careers in tech and game development.

This project will empower students to immerse themselves in learning and performance with tools that reflect real-world settings.

Many of my students are eager learners who thrive in hands-on, tech-based activities but don’t always have access to these resources at home. They are special because they bring creativity, persistence, and collaboration to every challenge, even when working with limited tools. This chair is more than just a seat—it’s a way to show students that their work and well-being matter.
