Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing individuals that need hands-on opportunities to feel successful! I teach English language learners at a Title I school, and our current curriculum is too difficult to tackle at the beginning of the year.

Help me differentiate my instruction to meet their needs and create life long learners!

My students come to school each day excited to learn, but unfortunately that excitement dwindles away when confronted with grade level texts. Together, we can make their academic success a reality!

My Project

Reliable printing should be accessible by all students. Right now, I am limited to what my students can print. Often print jobs are cancelled due to limited color ink accessibility. It is extremely frustrating to see my students create colorful presentation slides, to only be able to give them black and white copies of their hard work in return. Access to a color printer in my classroom would encourage all students to create their work in color and of high standard.

The addition of two tablets to the classroom will allow my students to access the internet and even read digital subscriptions!

The loaded kid apps on the Kindle will make this a sought after center activity. Reading is our goal, and this will make practicing a breeze.

When students see the generosity of strangers coming together to improve their school lives, they work harder and it instills a pride within them. Let this class experience the best year ever, and help us get reliable printing and tablets in our classroom!
