This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My sixth-grade superstars are always eager to learn. They love projects and activities that are fun and educational at the same time. They love to have fun as they learn. I want to make sure that in my classroom, students always have all the necessary materials to apply to their learning. Every child deserves a quality education without limitations.

Most of my students come from a low socio-economic background.

Students have limited access to resources such as technology or other materials to create or complete projects. I would love for all of my sixth-grade students to create wonderful projects without the worry of not having the necessary materials to complete their work. They can create beautiful pieces of art. Thanks in advance for investing in public education and essentially, the future of our nation.

My Project

The items that I am requesting will allow me to continue providing a welcoming and clean environment. I am kindly requesting Lysol wipes and spray to continue having a clean and sanitized classroom on a daily basis. I sanitize my classroom about 3 times per day, so these items are of great importance in the classroom. The face masks will allow my students to continue staying safe in the classroom. I am also trying to encourage a love for reading. Having a saucer chair in the classroom will serve as motivation in which students would enjoy reading in a comfortable space.

I am also requesting a brewer in order to have hot water available in the classroom.

The hot water will help with quick snacks such as oatmeal. In addition, the organizer will help me store pens and other supplies that have been kindly donated to my students in the past. Thanks in advance for your support.
