My Project

My students can benefit from this project because when I teach a lesson and if my students know the answer to the problem, I can set down the iPad in front of them to share their thoughts with the class and eliminate the feeling of being too shy or scared to come up to the front of the class. I am also requesting multiplication charts to hang one each on every wall of my classroom so that my students can learn the correct numbers that multiply and factor to a certain numbers. I believe doing this will make a difference in their learning because not every student will understand one or two methods of how I teach something, but with more minds thinking, my students can share and teach not only their peers, but also myself new and different ways of solving a problem. The goals of this project are to be more comfortable teaching anywhere around the classroom which I believe can help me build relationships with my students because I can sit at open desks around my students that might be off track or distracted. Hopefully, it will also encourage my students to want to share their ideas and answers to a problem with the class since they do not need to walk up to the front of the class just to solve something because I have noticed that sometimes coming up to the front of the board can discourage students from sharing their ideas.
