Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having a reliable computer would greatly help me and my students during this crazy and uncertain year! Even though I have an older computer, the one I have is a Lenovo (2012 model) and makes it difficult to go over grades, attendance, and assignments with students. Having a newer quicker tool will help me work with students one on one much better and allow me to see things more clearly when I am going over their schedules, transcripts, grades, assignments, etc.. This would help benefit all of my students that are working in my classes that are Special Education students with learning disabilities, emotionally challenged, Health Impaired, and Behavior Disorder. This will also help me with parent communication and collaboration with other teachers to discuss their progress and grades in high school.

The majority of my students come from a low income, title I, at risk community/school.

they are incredible and ready to take their learning through a tech-enable learning style. I want students to have a different perspective on technology and want them to have the knowledge to use an updated iMac inside the classroom and expose them to educational apps(e.g. VR educational apps, editing videos for creativity and have the knowledge to research their own information at home). I know iMac's are expensive, but this type of learning will benefit the future tech wiz. Thank you.
