My Project

I am teaching my students about how the engineering design process works by using rockets as the avenue of approach. The students are learning the iterative process by designing, manufacturing and launching rockets. Students also learn the safety procedures associated with handling rockets. I am using this learning opportunity as a way to recruit for the High School Rocketry Team that I coach. In that extracurricular students need to understand the basics of rocketry design, manufacture and launch. This classroom project serves as a basic learning module in this regard.
