My Students

Our school promotes an effective learning environment for all of our students. Students love learning in many different and unique ways. Students need materials that will keep them engaged and visuals to assist in areas of curriculum that are unknown to them.

Students in our building need vowel bins to help identify the difference between short and long vowels that they see within text.

Students are going to be so excited and encouraged to learn their letters with these interactive materials for even our youngest learners.

First and second grade classrooms are working on bridging the gaps that happened during last school year while continuously being engaged in their learning. Our literacy committee is working hard to engage young readers while bringing our learning community together!

My Project

Materials will make a difference in students' learning as they will be able to have hands-on materials that they can see, feel, and play with. They will also be able to have items without waiting for others to finish due to sanitary reasons.

Students are currently without hands-on materials that showcase the difference between short and long vowels due to having to share only one of these marvelous resources.

We want to be able to give them materials that can be used in any of intervention groups throughout the day without the pause of sanitizing each object.

Students will be able to use each vowel bin in order to identify short and long vowels using manipulatives that they can connect with their text. This can also be used to incorporate play into their intervention times. These materials will be so helpful and useful in the classroom, and we can't wait to start using them right away!
