My Students
My school is a public charter school. I have a bright and eager to learn group of 1st graders.
My school has a diverse population of students, many of whom receive free or reduced lunch.
A large proportion of students speak English as a Second Language. Many of my students have ADD and ADHD and would benefit from having these items in our classroom. Many of my students are still recovering from hurricane Irma and don’t have much in their own homes. They are so excited to come to school each and every day.
My Project
Combined with a projector, the IPEVO Interactive Whiteboard will allow me to present lessons that are interactive. My students will be able to come up to the board and manipulate information in order to contribute to what we are learning. Displaying samples of student's work can also lead to discussions about strategies they use to solve problems. Having the ability to make learning more hands-on will help every student in their education.
Donations to this project will help to improve student engagement.
The students will benefit from being able to interact with their learning and be able to share their knowledge with their classmates.
