My Project

We are in a digital age and students are more inundated with technology than ever before. While technology is a necessary tool in our current education system, as educators it is our job to train students how to PRODUCE with technology rather than merely become CONSUMERS of it.

iPads are an integral part of the elementary toolbox because they provide access to a number of tools and apps that are not easily utilized on a laptop.

Students become creators in topics such as: STEM, literacy, science, and social studies…just to name a few. They can do anything from utilizing apps that enable Green Screen capabilities to creating stop motion projects that showcase understanding of a topic.

Students in our library have previously had access to iPads but we were JUST told this week that all our iPads have been removed due to the model being unable to update. Please help us continue to provide our students with the most up-to-date technology to halo them become more adept digital citizens.
