This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.

Their home life presents many challenges, linguistically and financially, causing them to grow up quickly. However, that does not stop them from being fearless when it comes to learning!

My Project

Many of our students do not have access to technology and can not access instructional resources/assignments that will further their learning. iPads will allow my students to continue their education while they are engaged in Remote Learning during the COVID-19 NYC DOE school closure.

These iPads will help provide some sense of normalcy for students who have had to face one of the most challenging and disruptive changes in their young lives.

Students who can sign into Google Classrooms will not only be able to continue their education but they will also have an outlet where they can communicate with their peers and teachers.
