My students need two iPads to significantly enhance the learning and teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in 3-5 curricula along with universal centers and classroom differentiation and intervention.

My Students

We are known for our whole child, experiential learning approach. We believe that education must prepare all learners to be critical thinkers and thoughtful citizens. Students work toward compassion, respect, equality and justice, and are allowed to discover and explore their place in the world.

Our staff provides instruction and guidance that focuses on the student's needs and interests.

All students, including those with special and gifted needs, are included in daily classroom instruction.

Students often design and implement service learning projects that become a path for them to further their connections with our community.

My Project

The iPads will aim to significantly enhance the learning and teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in 3-5 curricula along with universal centers and classroom differentiation and intervention. In Mathematics, we are looking at supporting students' mathematical learning in the area of fractions as well as helping integrate with ADD-Vantage (AVMR). In order to maximize our Math interventions, we are looking to obtain engaging programs that reinforce our teaching and allow students to work independently.

These programs will help students experience success while filling in their learning gaps.

Our classroom desires iPads because the apps developed are educational games only found on iPads. Grades 3-5 do not have everyday access to iPads.
