My Students

At S. Academy we serve a diverse group of students with a multitude of disabilities, and we celebrate neurodiversity. We strive to individually help each student to do their best and succeed by meeting them where they are at and setting achievable and realistic goals with them.

This project will allow us to use the technology for distance learning if the need to do so should arise.

It will also serve as a unique reward for students who are struggling with behaviors or other issues as a means of getting them excited to work to be able to use the iPad for a few minutes to do a preferred activity.

My Project

With the uncertainty of the pandemic, learning from home at a moments notice is a very real thing. Having iPads to check out to students to learn from home would be an amazing resource. We can also use these in the classroom to learn, as well as students can work hard to earn free time on the iPads to play or do a preferred activity.

These tablets will be utilized every day in the best way possible to help support our students.

They will go a long way in the aid of the students we work with.
