My Students

My sixth, seventh and eighth grade students are part of one of the most focused, successful, and diverse Fine Arts programs in all of New York City.

Located in Brooklyn, our middle school strongly supports the arts and is known for its intensive program where students focus on their preferred field for three full years.

Many students in my program go on to specialized, art high schools throughout the five boroughs of New York City.

My Project

Utilizing iPads for students in my classroom as tools for photographic and informative references will allow my students to explore endless possibilities for creating award-winning art at our school!

iPads would allow my art students to have virtual museums at their fingertips.

Students can virtually tour museums too. iPads are an essential tool to provide students with inspiration for representational art and beyond!

The iPads will also be used as tools to discover information about the art they are referencing. Students will blossom as artists when they use the iPads to reference actual objects stemming from their observations and imagination.
