My Students

"If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow," John Dewey. My students are digital natives yearning for the resources for their tomorrow. With your help we can provide them with those resources.

Our school is in its third year and we are still building our 21st century technology resources.

I would love to give my students the opportunity to have learning literally at their finger tips. I teach 23 enthusiastic and inquisitive 4th graders in North Carolina. Our class as well as our school community is committed to creating a learning environment that is centered around the kids. This means technology is a must. My students love to learn and when you add in some technology that learning becomes magical.

My Project

The twi ipads will offer a learning environment that my students need and crave. They will be able to view the web, PowerPoint's, videos, Skye, explore books and create in ways I haven't been able to provide. This technology will give my student the chance to learn and apply 21st century skills that they will use to build their future.

Technology is all around us and to not use it would be a waste.

These ipads will directly impact the education of my student this year and my future students. With your help we can enrich the educational lives of so many.
