iPad The Ultimate Teaching Experience

Help me give my students a better learning experience in my classroom and at home. This iPad will allow me to make lecture videos with ease and teach while being mobile in my classroom.

My Students

I teach 13 year olds preparing to go to high school. They are excited each day and are fearless being the upperclassmen of middle school. I teach Pre Algebra and Algebra 1. They are both different groups of students. My Algebra students are advanced for their age and really push themselves. My Pre Algebra students are the ones I have to inspire a little more to love math. Both groups bring something different to my day. Both want to do well and both want to get good grades.

My Project

This iPad will allow me to make lecture videos for my students with ease and teach while moving around my classroom. This will allow for more discussion during lecture and allow me to check for more student understanding while teaching. This will allow me to check on and involve students in the back of the classroom by being able to check on their work during the lesson. It will also allow me to jump between examples while teaching. I would be able to make lecture videos from home instead of only being able to make them at school.
