This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Students

My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn.

They come from diverse backgrounds and thrive when lessons are interactive and visually engaging. Many of them are digital natives who connect best through technology. I want to meet them where they are and provide learning experiences that are as dynamic as they are.

My Project

I am requesting an iPad to transform how I teach and how my students learn. With an iPad, I can become what is often called an “iPad Teacher” — someone who uses this powerful tool to create, share, and enhance learning in real time. This device will allow me to:

Record and share mini-lessons for review and flipped classroom strategies

Use apps like Seesaw, Google Classroom, and Nearpod for interactive lessons

Create videos and visuals to help struggling learners

Provide individualized feedback using screen recording tools

Use it as a mobile document camera during small group instruction

My goal is to use the iPad as a teaching tool that boosts student engagement, supports different learning styles, and enhances classroom efficiency.

The Impact

Having an iPad in my hands will allow me to be more mobile and responsive during instruction. I can guide small groups, work one-on-one, or project content instantly. I can make learning more visual and interactive, especially for students who benefit from tech-based instruction. The flexibility and functionality of an iPad make it the perfect tool for modern, student-centered teaching.
