This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are constantly striving for self improvement and pushing themselves to advance in their academic abilities. Living in an inner city community, they often battle the hardships from a lack of family income, yet are motivated to advance from poverty by furthering their education.

My students are very diverse, and every one of them speaks a language other than English as their first language.

Although they are English Language Learners, they are progressing toward not only being bilingual, but also biliterate.

My Project

These are unprecedented times--teachers are now being asked to teach students remotely. This is incredibly challenging but with equipment like an iPad pro and digital pencil, I will be able to create lessons for my students in the best way possible!

My diverse, inner city students deserve the best lessons I can give them, even if we can't be together in our classroom setting anymore.

This iPad Pro will allow me to create videos, lessons, and curriculum that I can use with my students as we transition to distance learning.
