This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need an iPad in physical education. An iPad will allow students to experience new forms of exercise like yoga and zumba by projecting the workouts from the apps so students can follow along. Students will also use the coach my video app where they can record their movements.

My students are kindergarten through third grade students who enjoy being active and exercising.

Students in physical education class currently use stability balls, medicine balls, and exercise bands for their workouts. They are interested in trying yoga and other forms of exercise and the iPad would allow the workout to be projected so that all students can follow along to the video.

My Project

The iPad will be used to project workouts that students can follow along with. Workouts such as yoga and zumba are new forms of exercise my students would like to try. Also the iPad will be used to record student movement through the coach my video app where students can see themselves in slow motion which will help them adjust their throwing, catching, and kicking skills.

Donations to this project will enhance the physical education experience for my students.

Students will be able to experience new forms of exercise such as yoga and zumba. Students will also be able to improve their skill performance by using the coach my video app where they can record their movement and then watch it back in slow motion to look for ways to improve their form. The iPad will enhance the physical education classroom
