My Students

I teach a diverse range of learners from all types of backgrounds. They inspire me everyday with their motivation to create original products that they proudly claim as their own. Many of the assignments we complete in this class are project based and require students to produce quality, well-structured pieces of writing.

The goal and passion that I have for my class is 100% participation and engagement.

I want all students to be involved and feel like they have a place in my classroom as learners, creators, and leaders.

My Project

With the amazing privilege of being fully equipped with iPads in every classroom, my students are able to produce quality work through apps and programs that are easily accessible. The only great disadvantage with these innovative tools is that students cannot type comfortably and efficiently.

With the effectiveness of the iPad, along with the project based writing assignments students produce in class, keyboards are necessary to hone their skills as writers.

The iPad has a plethora of groundbreaking tools, but the built-in keyboard is not ideal for middle schoolers who are needing to practice essential writing skills. Students need these keyboards for the essential step in their education to grow as writers.
