Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students at our school are incredibly kind, loving, and eager to learn. Students arrive daily at school in uniforms and smiles ready to greet their teachers and learn something new!

The students that attend this school come from a low socioeconomic status. Many students at our school are on free or reduced-price lunch, and the school provides school supplies and the uniform for school. These circumstances often do not allow students access to academic supplies outside the campus of our school. Although these situations are unfair, my students deserve the same materials and access that any other child has. Providing these materials will help to push my students to a successful life.
My Project
Have you ever been in a room and someone is watching a video, and you were trying to read? Well that can happen often in our classroom. During many lessons students are at a different part. Some are still reading a question or watching a video. Currently, students are distracted by videos or by their peers whisper reading, and this project could help to fix this!
The headphones will give my students the independence to proceed through a lesson at their own speed.
They won't have to wait for me to play a given video to the whole class, and this will give me data to see where my students are. The styluses will help me read and understand the answers students are writing on their iPads as well. These tools will significantly help make our learning environment better!
