My Students
My students are inner city children from low economic homes. They have all interests and abilities. They are eager to learn and experience new things. Many come to school without all of their supplies, so asking them to supply other things, such as the ones requested is not possible.
These students need materials to help them be on task and focused.
Any opportunity to help these students make the most of their education is paramount! They would greatly appreciate your support!
My Project
An iPad would be a great tool for my students to use when their work is finished. They could work on websites, projects, or other school things. It would be useful to take and share pictures with parents, also. Some of my students may not get the chance to use an iPad unless they use it in the classroom.
My students who get instruction from another teacher could benefit from this, by using it when their work, assigned from the resource room, is finished.
My students could read books, do research, and use apps available on the iPad that may not be available on other technology.
