My Students

I work in an inner-city school in Providence, Rhode Island. I have twenty-six students in my class. Many of them receive either free or reduced-price lunches.

This year of school is the first for many of my students, and I want them to be excited about learning.

I want them to love school and be happy to come every day. Technology is a great way to get them hooked on learning and for them to know that the sky is the limit. I am excited about this project and I know they will be too!

My Project

Please consider helping my kindergarten students receive a new Apple iPad and stylus to use during both math and literacy centers. Technology is so important to learn to use now. An iPad is a great way to start to introduce young learners to computers and technology. My students will be able to access many educational apps to help with both math and literacy skills. Please consider helping my little ones out, because, with the financial strains that many districts are feeling right now, kindergarten classrooms are usually the last to receive any up-to-date technology if any at all. So please consider helping my little ones get some experience with computers by donating to our project.
