Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are resilient, loving, caring, and overall hard workers. During covid, it has been challenging not only for us as teachers but for our students. However, the majority of my students do their best and work hard to be in our virtual classrooms. Many of my students come from single-parent homes, from the Caribbean and Latin America. Though they have difficulties and language barriers they are very eager to learn and be successful.

My Project

In our changing school system, things need to be paperless now. In order for this to happen, up-to-date and accurate technology is a must for every school classroom.

An iPad will help to create and monitor in-class assessments for my students throughout the school day.

My students will be able to use it to complete digital assessments and we will use it for math on the board by displaying from their seats in order to stay socially distant.

By having this small device accessible throughout the school day, I will be able to monitor progress, input grades, and even upload my screen to the board using Apple TV for when my students need help with a task! Students will benefit from this small device.
