This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My mission every year is to teach the knowledge and skills, nurture the confidence and character, and inspire the passion needed for students to achieve their goals, excel in the competitive world, and positively impact the community. Having access to a technology in the classroom will prepare my students for the 21st century.

Despite some of their economic disadvantages and tough circumstances, my students inspire me every day as they show grit and a growth mindset.

They are creators, innovators, mathematicians, artists, scientists, athletes, and musicians. My students deserve the opportunity to have the best possible educational experience with access to learning tools that will prepare them for a choice-filled future.

My Project

Having Chromebooks in our classroom will enhance instruction and help students to become more technologically adept. Students will take turns using this resource during workshop time to access online programs such as Prodigy Math, Reading A-Z, and Google Classroom. This resource will without a doubt heighten the learning experience and further inspire their passion for learning. The ultimate goal is to eventually grow the number of Chromebooks in the classroom to maximize the learning opportunities.
