My Project

I am truly passionate about my students and their unique spirit of curiosity and creativity. They approach each day with enthusiasm and I love seeing their faces light up when they engage in hands-on learning. By providing them with the right resources, I can help unlock their potential and inspire them to become the problem-solvers of tomorrow. In this project, I am requesting a variety of essential STEM supplies, including popsicle sticks, tape, glue sticks, 3D printer filament, pipe cleaners, and storage tubs.

Each of these resources will enhance their learning experience and support specific projects such as designing and building an arcade game that helps students learn about the principles of force and motion.

Popsicle sticks and glue will allow students to construct mini greenhouses while learning about plant life and how the sun's energy can be transferred. When building windmills, students will utilize these materials to explore renewable resources and the mechanics behind energy generation. Additionally, 3D printer filament will help bring their digital designs to life, sparking interest in innovation. Storage tubs will ensure that our materials are organized and accessible to all. The items requested will help in their understanding of engineering concepts and improving their collaborative skills.

My goals for this project are to inspire students to think critically and engage in activities that promote collaboration and innovation. What makes my students special is their diversity and unique perspectives; each brings their own background and ideas to the classroom, enriching our learning community. By providing these STEM resources, I can empower them to learn from one another, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. Thank you for considering supporting our classroom!
