Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The visual art program is new at our middle school. Students are being introduced to various tools and techniques to unlock their creativity. These painting materials will aid in the development of their artistic talents as we explore portraiture, nature-based projects and printmaking.

Our students have very unique, individual talents that must be cultivated!

While some students have developed their artistic gifts on their own, others are being introduced in our middle school art studio. Supporting their artistic ideas in the classroom with ample supplies and materials is the first step to their artistic expression. The goal is to build their confidence in creating art in whatever medium they are inspired.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
