This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so excited to begin a journey with a new elective course at our high school next year: Marine Science!

The ocean impacts the whole world, even those of us in the desert.

It is important that I give my students the hands on experiences so that they can understand how something happening half a world away can impact our daily lives, from climate to food.

With these items, my students will be able study the properties of the ocean, how climate change impacts our waters, and why it is important to keep them clean.
