My television production students created films and broadcast packages that have earned recognition nationally and locally. Our course focuses on providing the skills they need to enter a career in broadcast journalism or filmmaking. Students create original short films in a variety of genres using the software program Adobe Premiere Pro. The district allows students to earn industry certifications in this program that help propel them to internships or a career straight out of high school.
Unfortunately, many of my students are unable to complete the Adobe certification at this time due to a lack of resources in our classroom.
I teach 150 students, but only have six computers available to students. We would be able to add an additional eight computers with these wireless Internet cards that would be dedicated to students studying and earning their industry certification in Adobe Premiere Pro.
My students are an incredible group of young adults with a passion for journalism. Please help them reach their goal of becoming industry certified in Adobe Premiere.
With the acquisition of these materials, my students will gain access to an additional eight computers in our classroom. They will be able to apply their knowledge of Adobe Premiere toward earning their certification.
The computers will only be used to prep them to take their Adobe Premiere Pro Industry Certification Exam.
Without these wireless adapters, there is no way for my students to access their online certification prep software from my classroom. Your donation will directly benefit the 150 students in my program this year and for many future years to come. Thank you for assisting the GTV program!
