This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our multi-cultured school community is facing an increase of students for whom English is not their first langauge. Their struggle is real. The Bilingual Tales book collection will help ease learning, since the books are writen in both their native languange, and English.

Providing this collection of bilingual books about their familiar stories from back home is crucial to overcoming language and cultural barriers.

These books will also help other students understand their new classmates and their stories through collaboration and comparison.
