Help me give my students funds for a Mimio Interactive Whiteboard system. I want to provide an interactive learning experience for my 4th Grade Special Education Students!
This project expired on June 21, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My 4th grade, special education class consists of 14 amazing students. All of my students are of Hispanic background and need additional learning resources in the areas of reading, writing and math. They've expressed how much they love using technology to learn. My goal as their educator is to give them that chance to take advantage of all the ways they can learn. They all have a winning attitude and do their personal best to contribute to our classroom community.
My special education classroom is in dire need of a technology update. I’d like for my students to have the opportunity to use technology as a form of learning in the areas of reading, math and writing. Due to the majority of my students being visual and tactile learners, they’d benefit by using this interactive learning tool.
By helping to fund this product, you are giving students the opportunity to become more literate and aware of their capabilities using technology.
The Mimio will bring the standard white, dry-erase board to life that students will be able to connect to various internet-related resources and activities. The Mimio system will also further enhance the Google Classroom experience. Students engagement and participation will be directly recorded from the Mimio to Google classroom, which will then allow for me to instantly track data for progress monitoring. Exciting stuff!
On behalf of myself and my 4th graders, we thank you for taking the time to read our plea. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated!
