Interactive Learning

My students need a document camera in the classroom in order to enhance their writing skills and become more involved in their daily classroom lessons.

My Students

My students come in with a smile on their face ever single morning! Some sit in the car or bus for up to an hour before they even get to school. Some of my students come to school with no breakfast, and have no idea where their next meal is coming from. Other students come to school with little to no materials and most of my students come from a home with a different language.

All of my students have a fun and open minded when it comes to learning in our classroom.

My Project

A document camera will make our daily classroom lessons run smoothly throughout the day. I teach fourth grade writing and there is a lot of note taking. I like to make our note taking more interactive for the students. I will include the students in the writing process by asking them to use the document camera as well to show case their writing skills.

Technology use in the classroom is an authentic learning experience for my students.

When students have a hands-on learning experience in the classroom it becomes more authentic for them. The document camera will be used for the students to take control of their learning and contribute to our classroom community.
