My students are hard workers, but they are still kids and need to fidget, move, and wobble! My students are deserving kids, and advocate for their own learning! We, as teachers, must focus on what is important, and that is our students. I want to make sure my students are given the best opportunity to learn. By providing flexible seating, the students will be able to learn about what choice is best for them to take ownership of their own learning. I have a lot of students who choose to stand, bounce their feet on the desks, and tap their pencils. With the flexible seating options, these students will be able to fidget, move, and wobble with little to no distraction from others. Research shows thats flexible seating increases engagement, and focus. Thank you for reading about our class and our dreams!
