Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
During this COVID-19 pandemic students and teachers were forced into a reality no one wanted to walk into. My group of students is part of an ICT classroom. I have general education and special education kids, who come from many different backgrounds and have done a great job participating in daily work. Many of them have had family members that have been sick and have had to experience difficult situations at a very young age. To make distance learning engaging, I am seeking to obtain the best materials my students can have in this new learning journey.
My Project
My students are facing one of the toughest challenges yet. Many of them face personal situations themselves having different learning disabilities but even more emotional discomfort with everything going on. My goal is to purchase instructional material that will make this journey a rewarding one. Teachers Pay Teachers tailor for the needs of all the students and types of learners. I will be able to incorporate them into my Google Meet sessions and into their learning activities as many games will be very interactive while they experience this new way of learning. Students will be excited to learn while having fun.
