Each day is a new fun-filled day in our third-grade classroom. Not one day is the same as the last, just as not one child is the same as the next. I believe everyone has a different way of learning, and I love to provide my students with many different tools and resources so they can be successful.
Third-grade students are eager to learn new things.
Each student has a learning style that I strive to incorporate in a fun, creative way. Our public school serves a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. We have a large population of military families and have many parents currently deployed. We are one of the best schools in our district and continue to strive for excellence daily.
My Project
Having an interactive monitor in our room would open up a wonderful world of possibilities for all of my students.
This screen can be used as a visual aid as well as a way to get kids moving and active in their own learning, plus more kids can work on the board at one time...20 to be exact!
One way we will use this board is through music using Flocabulary, a music-based learning program. They will be able to create music and lyrics to skills we are learning through this board with groups. They will also be able to use this board to create digital art using programs such as: Scrap Coloring, Bomomo, and Toy Theater.
Our interactive boards are slowly becoming outdated and it is getting time to start updating! This is the perfect update because it is an interactive TV screen, so there will be no use for a projector which then gives us other options for classroom spaces!
