Help me give my students various rock types, mechanical pencils and sharpeners, books for further explorations, a drink dispenser with a drink mix and electrolyte supplements, and bowls for shareable snacks.
With this project I hope to give my students more headspace for learning by enhancing their environment in both academic and physical ways.
They will get hands-on experience with various rocks as they study sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks.
Additionally, students will have the resources available to take a deeper dive into other topics in science with many different books and educational texts.
With mechanical pencils and standard pencil sharpeners for efficiency, they will be free from spending much time with housekeeping tasks and will be able to stay focused on their learning.
With a cordless mouse and keyboard, I can be present everywhere in the room while controlling any screen displays easily.
Physically, students will be able to use a drink dispenser for water or with drink mix and electrolyte supplements, and bowls for any sort of shareable snack or food during the appropriate time.
