This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love art and believe it can help students make connections in their education that a regular old worksheet just can't do. So, needless to say, we do a lot of art in my class.

Being creative as often as we are requires a restock of basic supplies throughout the year.

Regularly, we are drawing and coloring pictures to match our story problems in math. We make clay figures to help us learn how to be more descriptive. We use watercolors to explore warm and cool colors, as well as patterns. We use a lot of art supplies and we are well overdue for a restock so that we can continue to learn in a fun and engaging way.
