Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Maintenance is key in ensuring our possessions work and function as smooth as possible when utilized. From appliances, automobiles, personal hygiene, and yes, even musical instruments.

Our rock band program has kicked off this school year.

In an effort to ensure that our bass guitars are working as intended, we want to make sure the instruments are in working order for optimal performance.

The bass strings being requested are part of the annual maintenance for bass guitars. Unlike guitars, bass strings do not have to be changed as often. Having fresh strings allows for easier playability and a richer sound.

The colored bass strings will help with differentiation, as the colors will help students locate notes and positions at a faster rate. The locking mechanism being requested is to replace the existing strap locks that have become damaged due to normal use. Also, the fretboard oil and cloth will make the neck will make playability smooth by keeping dirt and grime to a minimum. Lastly, the DeoxiT will help with keeping all electric string instruments and their components (including guitars) to work like well oiled machine. Help us keep the rock rolling at our school!
