Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As neurodiverse learners, our students require a variety of hands on activities to learn and stay engaged while learning. Many have limited to no speech ability and get frustrated when they can't engage in activities that require speaking and/or writing.

By giving the fun and easy to follow worksheets to trace and learn their numbers they will get to interact with other peers and develop their sense of numbers, counting and sorting based on quantity.

They will also benefit from being able to use the number rods to measure and learn about differences in measurement. The mathlink cubes will help them to count, learn about colors and how to manipulate to build structures.
