These materials will be distributed to several teachers at my school, reaching at least 5 classrooms. We teach at an integrated preschool where half of our learners are special education students. For many children, this is their first time being away from their families in a structured, school setting. They are being exposed to many new skills; sitting at a table to complete an art project being just one.
With new art supplies, we will be able to give students continued opportunities to develop interests in the arts, practice their fine motor skills, and explore creatively.
The instruments will be used during circle time and choice time and provide another way for students to express themselves and make school a fun place!
