Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the ways in which we create a caring and strong classroom community is through PRIDE points which students can earn daily in each class and transition to each class. This allows them to hold themselves accountable for appropriate classroom and school wide behavior. It puts all students on an equal playing field for earning these items without worrying about affordability. It provides equity throughout the entire building as well as allowing students to feel accomplished.

These items drive students to show exceptional behavior regularly and be a part of the learning community.

The computer mouse, markers, slime, microphones, etc. are all items that will be added to the classroom store that students can obtain through earning these PRIDE points.
