Where have the arts in education gone? I refuse to let the arts die, and one way I plan to keep it alive is through the construction of models. Creating models has become very popular with students. It has also become easier to do in the classroom since it is now integrated into our new curriculum. Models provide an interactive platform that encourages learners to give captivating and engaging class presentations. I want to use the requested markers, crayons, posters and paint to motivate students to put more effort in their presentations along with their slideshows, and show visual explanations of their ideas to visually connect with their audience. Students will work in collaborative groups to create models on science concepts such as environmental, earth, evolution and reproduction. It's ideal for a diverse range of learning styles and just plain out fun and memorable. With these model supplies it will help to motivate students, improve learning, and integrate art! Please help me keep the arts alive!
