I love my students’ curiosity and enthusiasm for discovery. They ask thoughtful questions, make insightful observations, and thrive when given opportunities for hands-on exploration. They are eager learners who benefit most from engaging, tactile experiences that bring science to life.
This project will provide my students with high-quality dissection tools to deepen their understanding of life sciences.
Through dissections, they will develop critical thinking skills, practice scientific observation, and make real-world connections to biology and anatomy. These tools will allow them to examine structures firsthand, reinforcing concepts that can be difficult to grasp through textbooks alone. By working collaboratively, students will also strengthen communication and teamwork skills, preparing them for future STEM opportunities.
My goal for this project is to foster a love of scientific inquiry and provide my students with experiences that inspire them to pursue careers in medicine, veterinary science, or biology. Many of my students do not have access to these types of materials outside the classroom, and I want to ensure they have every opportunity to engage with science in a meaningful way.
What makes my students special is their resilience and passion for learning. Despite challenges, they show up every day ready to explore and grow. Providing them with high-quality dissection tools will empower them to ask bigger questions, make stronger connections, and see themselves as future scientists. With your support, we can create unforgettable learning experiences that spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators.
