My Project

Our students are composed of a majority of Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders who live on Hawaiian Homestead. Our students are resilient, socially responsible, and resourceful.

Through art, my students have been able to think outside the box and envision all the possibilities.

During learning centers, you can bet that the art center is a class favorite! I'm so amazed by their creativity and love seeing the finished product that they created all by themselves. I have seen birthday cards, hats, brochures, and many more wonderful handmade creations by my kindergarteners. For this project, we are requesting a variety of art materials such as dot markers, gems, feathers, stickers, painters tape, scissors, an art storage, and caddies. We are currently running low on a few materials in our art center and would like to have them replenish so my students are able to continue creating their own works of art.
