Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By incorporating arts and crafts materials into our STEM projects, I aim to show students the interconnectedness of disciplines and foster a holistic approach to learning. Through hands-on STEM projects with various textures and tools, my students will improve their dexterity and coordination, laying the foundation for future academic success.

Providing a wide array of materials will inspire my students to think outside the box, encouraging them to explore new ideas and solutions.

Clay: Clay offers tactile experiences for our students to sculpt and mold their ideas, enhancing their fine motor skills and spatial reasoning.

Feathers, Craft Sticks, Cardboard, and Cotton Balls: These versatile materials encourage creativity and problem-solving as students build structures, create art, and explore the principles of balance and stability.

Beads: These items expand our students' imaginations as they design and decorate, promoting color recognition, pattern-making, and sensory exploration.
