Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are full of excitement for learning. They love to learn through movement, songs, exploration, and hands-on experiments and materials. Students in my class are valued, and we promote a learning environment where students learn to value each other.

Many of my students are English language learners and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

However, this is not an obstacle to success in our classroom. We build a classroom community where all students can learn, succeed, and celebrate each others' strengths.

My Project

It is no secret that art is extremely beneficial to children. I would love to provide my Kindergarten students with a painting easel that will allow four students to paint at the same time for our art center.

A painting easel will allow my Kindergarten students to be creative and grow in so many ways!

Art allows students to express themselves while growing in fine motor and problem solving skills. Art also helps students to become more confident and even helps them grow academically and developmentally by boosting brain power.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
