This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach students who are students who speak English as a second language and students with disabilities. These students come ready to work and learn each day. They will not let anything stand in their way. They do not use their disabilities as an excuse. These students are very loving. They are ready to do what it takes to succeed.
My students are very amazing students who want to succeed in school.
I teach at a green zone school. This means that all of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. Each student in my class loves learning. Through hard work and perseverance, they will succeed.
My Project
I teach in a green zone school. My school receives 100% free breakfast and lunch. We are in need of pencils and pencil boxes to make it to the end of the school year. The students have been taking pencils home because they do not have pencils at home.
These pencils will allow my students will be able to compete in the young authors contest we have coming in May.
The pencil boxes will help my students hold on to their pencils better. The students would not have to leave them on their desk and have them fall to the floor. They would also not have to deal with other students finding them on the floor and taking them.
The ink for the printer will allow me to print out exercises to help them improve their handwriting. It will also allow me to give them more practice on skills from the lesson.
