My Students
I am living the dream teaching fifth graders in my hometown! Serving alongside my former teachers is the coolest experience! I serve a diverse group of kids who have many different interests and unique learning styles. This year, I will be taking on the challenge of teaching the fifth grade students of Noble virtually! I'm excited to take my students on a world-wide adventure as we dive into curriculum in a new and exciting way.
My virtual classroom will provide opportunities for my students that cannot be offered in a normal classroom setting.
I am bringing education into the twenty-first century and cannot wait to get started! My hope is to empower students with the life skills necessary to navigate these uncharted waters and bring them hope! This is my hope and my mission for each generation that walks into my classroom.
My Project
My students are learning virtually this year and are in need of some -technology-free learning. Help my students cuddle up by the fire to this sweet book that celebrates diversity and the importance of being ourselves.
With so much change happening in the world right now, I know my students will be able to relate to the characters in the story and identify how they work through unexpected obstacles as they navigate life in a different world.
This book and gift card will be used to support a virtual book club for my students this year. Students will use their literacy knowledge and skills to understand this book on a deeper level. After reading, they will create a presentation project on what makes them significant. They are destined to learn so much about the unique differences of their classmates with this project!
